Aquarelle on paper, 20,4x29,8 cm /// The artist Zigmunds Šnore (1942) specialised in aquarelle painting. He captured panoramic city views and landscapes in his works. He participated in an international biennial of aquarelle painting and has received recognition in art competitions. Šņore is one of the Latvian painters who focused on the sea motif in his works. The artworks from the seascape series stand out with a masterful representation of colour transitions, spaciousness and a unique atmosphere emphasising the endless horizon line. The artist’s signature is on the lower left.
