Aquarelle on paper, 51x71 cm (56x76,5 cm with frame and museum-quality glass), 2017 /// The artist Zigmunds Šnore (1942) specialized in aquarelle painting. He has participated in the international biennial of aquarelle painting and has received recognition in art competitions. In his creative work, he depicted panoramic cityscapes and landscapes. In several of his aquarelle series, he showed motifs inspired by the sea and water. The artist used pastel colours with a nuanced tonal transition and darker accents to capture the dynamic view of the yacht regatta. The artist’s signature is on the lower left.
