The work of art has been created in the typical manner of the painter Kārlis Dobrājs. Stylistically it can be divided to the new realism. The painting with a poetic title opens the view through the window at the same time depicting the reflection effect of the sun rays and the objects in the studio. The mirror image of the colour mixing palette is paired with brushes placed on the inside of the window sill. The apple orchard which can be seen through the window resonates with the apples in the centre of the composition. The painting is made with the clarity of the drawing, what is one of the characteristics of Dobrāj’s, and the masterful use of green colour, taking into account the nuances and intensity of the shades. The artist's signature and dating on the lower right side of the painting.
