Etching, soft varnish, 14,5x33,5 cm, (29x46,5 cm), 2018 /// The artist Jekaterina Grjazeva (1968) graduated from the Department of Graphics of the Art Academy of Latvia. She organized more than ten solo exhibitions and participated in international art projects. The works are in private collections in Latvia and abroad. The artist works in several techniques: ink drawing, aquarelle, oil painting and book illustration. In creative work, she has focused on traditional etching techniques. The elegant delicacy of the line and the emotional depiction of nature distinguish the works created with this graphic technique. The use of colouring and aquatint highlights the nuances of the artwork as the dimension and specific mood.
