A new work by Latvian painter Andis Gūtmanis is now available on the Art Platz Auction online platform. The artist is known for his maritime subjects and depictions of the Latvian coastline. In this work, the weathered piles of an old pier lead the viewer’s gaze towards the horizon, while a restrained palette of bluish-grey and green tones evokes the tranquillity and openness of the coast. The seaside landscape “The Pier at Lapmežciems” (Lot 2026/0366) is now open for online bidding.
