Art Platz Auction online auction is regularly updated with new artworks by well-known Latvian and foreign artists. In 2022, from the representatives of modern 20th-century painting, we showcased such masters as Valdis Bušs (1924-2014) and Herberts Siliņš (1926-2001), whose works were our favourites. However, the most popular lots were the original illustrations of Latvian folk tales and legends by Kārlis Dobrājs (1943). And in the category of classical landscape painting, we highlight the masterful depiction of the seasons by Edgars Vinters (1919-2014).
