Art Platz Auction Highlights for April feature still lifes by the Latvian classic of the second half of the 20th century, Edgars Vinters. In his floral compositions, a distinctive sense of colour and a free, impasto brushstroke give the paintings vitality and movement. The rich areas of flowers are saturated with nuanced colour, where light and tonal transitions form a harmonious whole. The still life compositions "Flowers" (Lot 2021/0017) and "Asters" (Lot 2026/0355) are currently available for online bidding.
