Art Platz Auction Highlights – October selection presents two works by Jūlijs Viļumanis, capturing everyday life along the Latvian coast. Maritime and fishing scenes occupy an important place in the artist’s work, characterised by loose brushwork and nuanced colour. Both cabinet-format paintings, Before the Storm (Lot 2026/0371) and Fishing Nets (Lot 2026/0372), are available for online bidding. You can view these and other artworks in the exhibition Sea Stories at Art Platz Gallery until 7 November.
