New artworks by the landscape painter Edgars Vinters (1919-2014) have been added to the Art Platz online auction catalogue. Vinters is one of the representatives of the tradition of Latvian landscape painting; his style is characterized by classical composition structure, a nuanced colour palette, and a sensitive manner of capturing moments of nature. In his paintings, he always followed the traditions of Realism and Impressionism. On auction are two paintings from different decades of the artist’s creative career with the Latvian countryside landscape during the fullness of the summer season.
