A new work by notable Latvian marine painter Eduards Kalniņš is now available on the Art Platz Auction platform. The compact cabinet-format painting depicts a fishing village nestled among coastal dunes, with boats drawn up on the sandy shore and fishermen’s huts rising behind them. Kalniņš’s characteristic painterly style and nuanced interplay of colours evoke the quiet rhythm of coastal life. The painting Skulte Fishing Village (Lot 2026/0374) is now open for online bidding.
