A Series of Illustrations by Kārlis Dobrājs

Two new illustrations by the famous Latvian painter, Kārlis Dobrājs (1943), have been added to the Art Platz online auction. The series of drawings created in the aquarelle and tempera technique have been commissioned for the book “Windy Accipiter” (“Vēja vanadziņš”, 1993). It compiles a selection of artistic designs of Latvian legends and tales with a visually complemented narrative of the story itself. The coloured, hand-drawn illustrations are original artwork in one copy.
