A few of the most demanded artworks at the Art Platz Auctions have been added to the online auction catalogue – coloured illustrations by the famous Latvian painter Kārlis Dobrājs (1943). The series of illustrations created in the watercolour and tempera technique have been commissioned for the book “Windy Accipiter” (“Vēja vanadziņš”, 1993). It compiles a selection of artistic designs of Latvian legends and tales with a visually complemented narrative of the story itself. 10 original illustrations in one copy, which stylistically conforms to Dobrājs characteristics, aesthetics, and artistic manner.
