Two paintings by the Latvian landscape painter Edgars Vinters (1919-2104) have been added to the Art Platz online auction. Vinters is one of the representatives of the tradition of Latvian landscape painting; his style is characterized by structured composition, a nuanced colour palette, and a sensitive manner of capturing moments of nature. In his paintings, he always followed the traditions of Realism and Impressionism. The artworks are from different decades of the artist’s creative career with the theme of rivers in Latvia.
