New artworks by Valdis Bušs (1924-2014) have been added to the Art Platz Auction online catalogue. The artist’s creative manner can be described as a synthesis of 20 th century modern painting styles. Four oil technique paintings from the decade of 70s stands out with the artist’s expressive search for the possibilities that can be reached by the energy of colour and brushstroke. The artworks are saturated by the intensity of emotions and artistic language. The paintings were exhibited in summer 2021 at the gallery Art Platz in large-scale exhibition My Flag is Colour dedicated to Valdis Bušs’ creative heritage.
